Bennett is now past the newborn, sleep all the time phase. Now he takes a few 10 minute naps through out the day. On the flip side he does sleep great at night but I cannot shower and get dressed for the the day in 10 minutes. So, thanks to some friends for suggesting this book, Amazon and priority shipping, hopefully we will get him on schedule in no time. With a little luck I may even get to shave my legs soon.

This book has some really good ideas! It helped me get Logan on a good routine. You'll find every book has a good point and then you'll just take a little of everything to do what's good for you and Bennett. I'm glad I read this book though! Good Luck with the sleeping thing!
PLEASE just count your blessings that he sleeps at night. I am the most tired person on the planet. Bennett, you rock!!
(I agree with Jana) What I always did with Easton when I needed to shower was I put him in a pack and play in my bedroom and he was so content to look at this cute teddy bear mobile that came with it... for a little while at least. Then when he got a little older, I just let him play with toys.
Wait till you have a toddler while you are trying to get ready...it only gets worse! For example, they like to unroll the ENTIRE brand new roll of toilet paper, go through all your make-up, pull all your shoes off the rack and try them on etc etc all while just showering. Then, they just keep peeking in on you like "mom, are you done yet?" No-but I agree, newborns are hard because they scream until they get what they want. By the way, I love that you posted a pic of your baby announcements, they turned out super cute!
Everyone is different so you just have to keep trying until you find what works. The book that saved me (my cousin calls it her Baby Bible) is called "On Becoming Babywise." If you ever want to borrow it, let me know!
