I have been hesitant to go get Bennett's Picture taken with Santa.
Reason#1- They are like $15.
Reason #2- I knew they would turn out like this.
So we did a trial run at our ward party. Confirmed. I am just going to have to dress Jon up if I want that classic happy baby-happy Santa shot. Look at poor Santa. I'm not sure who was more miserable.

everyone needs a crying baby picture on santas lap. i've been thinking about maddie because she will start crying before she even gets close to his lap. its kind of cute!

At least he's got the candy cane in his clutches! And yes, Santa looks slightly crazed. Maybe he knows that's not the real Santa? Maybe he smells like beef and cheese? Maybe he sits on a throne of lies?
for the future:
you don't have to get pics when you go to the mall santa. you can take your own camera and take a picture. why on earth anyone would pay for a picture of their kid w/ santa is beyond me (i'm cheap i guess)
I have tried. They have silly rules like, santa can't pose for you and you have to stand outside the fence.
Natalee looked at this today and said, "Oh no. Aunt MarKey shouldn't have made Bennett sit on Santa's lap."
That picture is priceless, maybe next year! I love this song BTW, it's my fav. christmas song!

I think I have a picture of every one of my kids having a screaming fit on Santa's lap. I do love the look on your Santa's face-priceless. :)
