So much has been going on and no time or desire to post. Here are some highlights.
Summer Days
We had cousin Madeline over to play. It was a perfect day to bust out the pool and popsicles. Madeline is in one of Bennett's suits. It is her favorite color, "onedge". She didn't even care or notice that it was a boys suit.
I LOVE these pictures. The first is a perfect example of how cute these 2 play together. When Bennett like something he opens wide to enjoy it to its fullest, and then he cries when it is all gone. Popsicles are very emotional.
Nursery
Bennett is not one of those kids who is clinging to my leg, screaming. He loves nursery, as I knew he would. I was excited for nursery for a few reasons.
#1- 2 out of 3 hours of church I get to wear earings.
#2- I only have to bring entertainment for 1 hour of church.
#3- No more spending Relief Society in the halls. Jon is the E.Q.P., so I got Bennett every week.
#4- The social interaction is good for him.
Even though there are so many pro's to nursery, I cringe at how our medical expences will increase. Bring on the germs!
Lagoon
He loved anything he could drive. Doesn't he look like such a big boy.
Sleep Eater
I was giving Bennett some snacks in the car to hold him over until we got home for lunch. Too late.
Square foot garden
We planted a garden in the spring. In it was tomatoes, peppers, kale, lettuce, peas, onions, carrots, cucumber, beans and squash. Currently living are tomatoes and peppers. I think the problem was over fertilizing. Better luck next year.
Our first tomato. I was so proud. I never liked tomatoes until I had one from a garden.
Dallas
My brother Dallas has been living in Peru for the past 6 months. He is home now and has been so fun to have around. Bennett loves him, he is that super uncle. You know the one that never gets tired of throwing, airplaining, spinning and wrestling you. That's Uncle Dallas.
(for those of you who speak spanish, I am aware this cake is not spelled right. Not my fault, Costco's)
He brought Bennett this funny outfit from Peru. All he needs are some chiclets, right.
Welcome back pants!
Since it is hot I used to have Bennett take naps in just his shirt and diaper.
Those days are done. I went in to check on him the other day and he was playing with the velcro and trying to figure out how to put it back on. I am so glad he figured out how to take it off when he happened to be clean and dry. He is such a goof!
Sweet shades
Bennett got these sunglasses out of a pinata at a family reunion. He picked them out himself and was so excited about it. He is usually always wearing them on his eyes or head.
Etc.
July and August are my 2 least favorite months. There is so much fun stuff to do but it is so hot. Would anyone hate me if I said I miss the snow. It's true.
We never get sick of watching Wipeout. We laugh for an hour straight.
Jon is hopefully going to start working 7-4 next week, putting him home at least an hour earlier. Bennett and I are so excited.

K love I don't get the ketchup. I can't believe how Bennett is!!! We love to watch Wipeout too. Its like an hour long ab workout from laughing. I don't know how some people do that, cause it kinda looks painful. I have tried to get me garden to grow to and so far all I have are radishes coming out my ears and a few peas. Everything else either died or decided not to grow.
Oh they are such cute cousins. Madeline loves Bennett so much. We love Wipeout too. Skipper wants to do it so bad.
okay.. a few things... your little boy is getting so big and is more adoreable than ever... wipeout is our favorite show too...we need to get together and watch it. and last but not least... i was happy to see dallas alive and kicking. tell him hello for me.
