"Wook Mommy, a hosey. Yeehaww!"
Bennett was so excited to show me what he figured out how to do during his nap. Since we didn't want to chance a broken limb, we converted his bed that night.
My easy life, as I know it, is over.
3 hour naps-OVER
Naps period-OVER
Easy bedtime-OVER
8:00pm bedtime-OVER
Sleeping past 7:00am-OVER
We are on day 5 and the transition was not as bad as I thought. We only have to take him back to bed once or twice, and hopefully it will improve over time. I love him so so so much, but that cute face staring at me at 5am is not something I want to wake up to daily. We have to work on that wake up time.

I forgot what a hard transition that was. Good to do it now though, way before your baby comes!
GOOD JOB BENNETT
Oh crap is right! I sure hope Lucas doesn't learn that anytime soon!
Here is my two cents... we had the same issues at first. The key for Dallas was knowing he couldn't get out of his room, so getting out of his bed was pointless. We put a child handle on the inside of his door -- for a few days he would still get out of his bed, so we had to revisit the "cry it out" method. But after 2 or 3 days he stopped even trying. Hope that helps!
Let the games begin!!
