"I can't put my arms down" just like Ralphy on Christmas Story. He got this cute coat from my sister. He grew to love it but at first he was not so sure, obviously.

When B was little he used to play with multiple thing at a time. One in his hands and one in his toes. He's a genius!

~April Fools~

Growing up my Mom always made the silly little holidays fun. I have always said I would do the same but I was off to a bad start this year. We have not had heart shaped pancakes for Valentines Day or green food on St. Pats day but I finally got on the ball for April Fools day. We did one of those goofy dinners where you draw the number to see what you have to eat with.

Jon and I both agreed that if anything it was a good weight loss program. We probably would have eaten more but it wasn't worth the effort.

Stuffed!

This past weekend was my and Jon's birthdays. Jon turned 33 on the 27th and I turned 24 on the 29th. It was the end of a fun year because our ages were switched 23/32.
Every time this week rolls around we are left with full tummies and a full fridge. There is a whole lot of going out to eat, being taken to eat, cakes and family get togethers. All of which are very fun but very filling.

On Friday we went on a date. Yep, that is right, a real date, with a sitter and everything. That is rare. Bennett is such a good boy, he is easy to take and we love to have him. After our date we realized that although we missed our buddy, we had so much fun and we will do it more often. We went to Tucano's. That is Jon's favorite and we are on the birthday club. Saturday we met up with my family at Thanksgiving Point's Farm Country.

My cute nieces loved it as much as Bennett did, except for the crying afterward.

My birthday was fun and relaxing. Bennett wasn't feeling well so he and I stayed home from church and napped, both of us, awww.
Jon got me these cute shoes. The gray ones are funky, I love them.

Ewww

Last night I was in the bathroom doing the nightly routine. Jon came in to do the same. I was brushing my teeth and he was rummaging around for a while.
"Where is my tooth brush?" he asked.
"righ ere" (right there, with suds in my mouth, pointing at the holder)
"That's not mine..........There it is!" Jon said while looking right at me.
"ere?" (Where) I said.
"In your mouth" Said Jon.
"How long has this been your toothbrush?"
"Christmas"
"Same here"

I know we are husband and wife, so we kiss often and I love him dearly but this really grossed me out.

Never Again

Today I went to the dentist. I hate it so bad....so so so bad. I have always had weak teeth, along with all my brothers and sisters. It must be genetic, combined with having no fluoride in our water growing up. Today I just had 2 cavities. I say just because that is a low number for me. But I decided that I was never going to get a cavity again. Hopefully it is a realistic goal. I got some prescription tooth paste. $17 a tube is pretty steep but a lot cheaper than 2 cavities every 6 months. Wish me luck. I will let you know how it goes in 6 months.

The Very Hungry Bennett Boy

Some days I feel like I am narrating this book. You remember how it goes. On Monday he ate through one green leaf but he was still hungry and so on..........

Here was the menu for the other day.
For Breakfast Bennett ate 2 waffles, a banana and milk.
For Lunch he ate a PB&J, 2 strawberries, 1/2 and avocado, a yogurt, some graham cookies, milk and juice.
For dinner he ate a huge serving of stir fry and rice, a pear and water.

In often times I make him and I the same thing. I feed him first then try to eat mine. He is soon at my feet wanting some. So he usually ends up eating most of mine as well.

He is such a good eater! I love it.

Zoo-ba-lee-Zoo

The zoo was having a free day a while back, so we bundled up and headed down.


Carly, Logan and Savanna agreed to put up with us for the day so we were in good company. I like going places with Carly because it is like having my personal photographer follow me around to document my life..........oh yeah, she and her kids are pretty fun too.

Wake up, wake up. It's Zoo time!!

What is B so excited about? Maybe a monkey or a giraffe, nope just a drinking fountain.

This picture would probably be really cute if I wasn't looking disgusted at the animal eating it's own pooh.

On the way home Savannah had had enough. She cried and cried. Carly and I just talked louder but this is how Bennett coped.

I'm honestly not sure where he learned that. Maybe his Dad or maybe he is a head of the game on learning his 5 senses.
