Bennett and I dropped Jon off at the airport this morning. He is heading to Arizona for a conference. As much as we will miss him, I think Jon will miss us even more. Don't get me wrong we will miss him, but we have each other to entertain.
In our almost 4 years of marriage we have only spent one night away from each other at a time and even that has only happened once or twice. Since Jon has worked from home all of Bennett's life, he has never had to leave him for more than a few hours. I have been so spoiled to always have him around to help and entertain Bennett. They have such a sweet bond. It is so fun to watch them play and love each other. I'm not sure what they are going to do with out each other.
The entire morning Bennett knew something was up. He was fussy and clingy, which is not him at all. When his Dad walked away from us at the airport he cried.......and continued to cry for a half hour. It broke my heart, all I could do was join him. (What big babies we are!!) I hope I can suffice until he comes home on Friday. Until then, I get to see how all you real Moms do it. Wish me luck!!

Good Luck MarKey...you'll do great! Do you and two want to come over for dinner tomorrow or later in the week? Let us know.
Good thing you did not mention me crying, oh wait can people read this?
Love Ya,
Jonny
I'm still sad you guys couldn't come with him to visit me. I remember when you guys were dating and you came without him to my wedding. The first thing you said when you got off the plane was "I miss Jon". You guys are too cute. Makes me sick!!
Thats sad he's gone for that long. I miss Colt when he's gone to work. It's pathetic I know. But you should call and we can go do something.
Tuesdays are $2 days at Thanksgiving Point during August. Wanna go?
Don't worry it will go fast. If you get board you can come over, Ethan works till 7:00 everyday.
I know exactly what you are going through. The first time Eric has ever been away was this weekend and it was for 5 days! It was so hard but when we came home it was so exciting to see him again! Good Luck, you will be a great "Real Mom"!
All I have to say is I'm sorry!!! When I went THREE weeks without seeing Scott, when he was working in Chicago, I just about died. Logan was so differnt too. It's amazing how little babies seem to know what is going on. Good luck girl.
ah, you're so sweet. sometimes i wish rob traveled for work more often (or ever) ; )
he used to work late one night a week. it was great. anna and i would make/get pizza and rent a movie.
you'll do great!
You're so lucky that he's there to help so much:)
:( SAD, IM GLAD THAT YOU SURVIVED. BY THE WAY, I LOVE THE PICTURE OF BENNETT AT THE ZOO WITH HIS FACE PLASTERED TO THAT BIG WET BALL OR WHATEVER IT IS.
