-New wardrobe
-Weekend getaway
-New toys for Bennett
-Catch up on scrap booking
-Fix broken garage door
-Put finishing touches on the basement
-A rocker/recliner for Bennett's room
-A new suit for Jon
-Spa day.........or weekend
-Decorate our Bathroom
-Organize and makeover the office
-Food storage
-Go organic
-Dinner at the Roof
-Sky Dive
-Put hardwood in the kitchen
-Clean our air ducts
-A GPS
-Not ration gas

All of which and more would be money well spent. But instead here is what I get to do with it.

We recently moved Jon's business out of a ware house. Along with about a million lights we moved out one of our cars. It has been parked there for last year because we have not needed it, but it is a good car and it's paid off so we weren't in a hurry to get rid of it. In the past year it's insurance and registration have expired. Since we were just driving it about 20 miles on back roads and we will still not be driving it in the future, we did not worry about updating them. I should have known with our luck that was a bad choice. We passed 3 police cars and the 3rd was a charm. He decided to pull me over and give me a citation for no registration and no insurance. I was pretty bummed but the shock really came when I researched how much it would cost.
No registration=$40, not great but do able.
No insurance=$400, are you kidding me?!

Give me some honest feed back. I fully admit, I was guilty of both charges but should I try to dispute it under the circumstances or would it be a lost cause?

For the love! :(
Supposedly there is a way to research the police officer and make sure that he's current on all his little police business. If he's not, and like 90% of them aren't, the ticket is basically null and void. Wish I knew more about this, but I'll try to remember who told me or where I read it and let you know.

I have no idea! All I know is.....if you go to court and the officer doesn't show up most of the time the ticket thrown is out.

Dispute, dispute, dispute Markey! This is coming from the ex-cop's son. You really have nothing to lose in this case...-Clint
