100 Things about us

My friend put this on her blog and I thought to myself that I could never do it because frankly, we are just not that interesting. After giving it a try I am more convinced than ever that we are still not that interesting. But if nothing else here is a little something to help you get to know us better. Warning!! This is a long one.

1. Jon is 32
2. I am 23
3. I had Bennett's name picked out before I ever met Jon. Luckily he liked it.
4. I have never broke a bone.
5. Jon broke his arm and managed to break it in a second spot while it was in the cast. Talented!
6. Bennett's poop was blue the other day. I freaked, it turns out it was just due to a change of formula.
7. Jon is the ward mission leader.
8. I am the compassionate service leader. AKA- the best calling in the world. You get to do your calling while in your pj's. It doesn't get much better than that.
9. Bennett is a pretty good boy in church.
10. Jon likes to decorate our home just as much as I do. He sometimes even does it better.
11. My favorite color is red.
12. When Bennett gets his baths he has to have one wash cloth to play with and one to clean with.
13. Jon has an infectious laugh.
14. I adore his laugh.
15. Bennett has an infectious laugh as well, even in church.
16. Jon is a HUGE sports and politics fan. He is smart and good at both of them.
17. I give my best shot at politics but when it comes to sports, I am a lost cause.
18. Bennett is a republican and a Seahawks fan (in training).
19. We both wanted a boy first. Luckily that is what we got. Can you imagine our poor little girl.:(
20. Jon is the 5th child of 6.
21. I am the 5th child of 5.
22. Bennett loves to go outside. It is a sure way to stop him if he is crying. We look forward to our daily walks.........even if it is just to the mailbox.

23. Jon drives a Toyota FJ. It would be cooler if he didn't have his obnoxious business's logo's all over it, but it's still a fun car.
24. I drive a Lexus RX300.
25. We also have an old Nissan Maxima.
26. We really don't need 3 cars but I can't part with my Maxima. It was the car that I drove while Jon and I were dating.
27. Bennett loves car rides.
28. We have 13 nieces and nephews on Jon's side.
29. And 3 on my side.
30. Bennett is of course the cutest one of all.
31. Jon's favorite movie is Saving Private Ryan
32. Mine is CARS.
33. Bennett loves to watch Veggie Tales.
34. Our family needs a vacation REALLY REALLY bad!
35. Jon snores.
36. I talk in my sleep a little.
37. With the exception of a night here and there, Bennett has slept through the night since he was a few weeks old.
38. When Jon and I first started dating, he was afraid to ask how old I was, and rightfully so. And I was afraid to tell him.
39. We dated for a few weeks with out knowing each others age. It was kind of an unspoken rule, we both knew we did not want to bring up. I had to make him fall for me before I dropped the bomb. Little did I know, it didn't even take a few days.
40. Bennett has his Dad's gorgeous blue eyes.
41. All three of us love to be in pj's.
42. Jon finished our basement to be his sanctuary.
43. I'm not sure if it will ever get furnished because he has such expensive taste.
44. Bennett went on the swing at the park the other day for the first time. He thought that was pretty cool.

45. Bennett is finally growing some hair back. I think it is coming in blond.
46. It is our weekly goal to be on time to church....... We are still trying.
47. Jon works for himself.
48. I work for Bennett.
49. Jon grew up in Seattle, Virginia, California and Utah.
50. I grew up in Utah and Utah.
51. Bennett was the smallest baby born in his hospital on 11-19-07.
52. We don't have an IPOD. I know, we are in the stone age.
53. Jon is a huge help around the house.
54. I went into labor with Bennett at 32 weeks. They were able to stop it.
55. I went into labor again at 36 weeks, and they stopped it.
56. I went into labor at 40 weeks and 4 days. They let me have him that time.
57. I can't count how many times I kiss Bennett in a day.........or an hour.
58. Bennett loves to kiss his mommy, or suck her cheek, whatever you want to call it.
59. Jon does the same. ;) ;)
60. I am in love with Costco. So, if you ever run out of anything, most likely I can bail you out.
61. Bennett has lots to say.
62. Jon served his mission in Russian
63. I am allergic to any animal you can think of. Really, try me.
64. Bennett smiles big after he sneezes.
65. We don't blame him. We love to sneeze too. (Is that weird?)
66. Jon's degree is in Philosophy and Communication.
67. I taught pre-school through 2nd grade for over 4 years.
68. Bennett is working on getting his first fat roll. It's almost there.
69. Jon hates sour cream and ranch dressing.
70. I love both of them.
71. Bennett is getting better with a spoon.
72. Jon's favorite channels are ESPN, Fox News and History.
73. My favorite channels are TLC, Travel and History.
74. Bennett likes to watch sports. It must be genetic.
75. I have never met anyone who doesn't like Jon. I'm pretty sure thats because they don't exist.
76. I do other peoples scrapbooking as a little side job.
77. Hopefully, some day I will get to Bennett's.
78. Jon coaches our nephews little league baseball team.
79. I look forward to my monthly Bunco group, because we are pretty much the funnest group of gals around.

81. We recently discovered that The Office is about the funniest show ever. It has us rolling on the floor!!
82. Jon works from home, so we get to spent a lot of time together.
83. I am a little spoiled with all the help I get. I am going to have a rude awakening when he starts working regular hours and I will have to see how the real Mom's do it.
84. Believe it or not, Jon and I haven't always been fat.
85. I was on the tennis team in high school.
86. Jon played on every team imaginable, even the swim team......oooh lala!
87. We are just so darn content with our selves we just don't feel the need to do anything to improve our physic. But we better figure it out soon, because...........
88. We are going on a CrUiSe in January!!!!
89. Bennett prefers to put himself to sleep.
90. It is nice but also sad that he doesn't need us to cuddle him anymore:(
91. Jon has met a lot of famous people through his job.
92. He has done lights for Mitt Romney and Jeff Foxworthy, to name a few.
93. The closest thing to a celebrity I have ever come is being asked out by a cast member from the LDS movie, Singles Ward. It didn't work out between us..........pretty much because he wasn't my type and he was looking for someone out of high school. ;) Just kidding, it didn't even get that far. I said thanks but let him know I was only 17. He quickly withdrew his offer and walked off to go find a hole to crawl in. The poor guy was pretty embarrassed.
94. We could not ask for a better neighborhood. We love it. If we ever move we want to take all of our neighbors with us.
95. I took Bennett to the Dr. for a weigh in and he has gained over 2 pounds in just 2 weeks. I am surprised he doesn't have stretch marks. Thank you, rice cereal!!
96. Bennett has had clogged tear ducts until just recently, they are starting to open up. That means no more eye infections. Yeah!!
97. Bennett will be 6 months next week. Weird! He is growing so fast.
98. Bennett has never been sick...........I hope I didn't just curse my self.
99. We are going to Moab next week.
100. We love our Bennett and we don't know what we ever did with out him.
