We had such a great time in Moab. On our way home we went through Goblin Valley and Capital Reef. It was a much needed vacation and a great way to start off the summer.
There have been times I wished we lived out of state and were able to step out side our happy valley and experience the world. But this trip gave me a new appreciation for Utah. Where else can you experience "The Greatest Snow on Earth" and in just a few hour car ride be in the desert with arches and goblins. I was baffled as we would drive, the mountains would transition from red rock to white rock to snow capped, in minutes. When I looked at these structures I was fascinated as to how they got there. Each sight gave the geological answer, but I'm sure it is merely a drop in the bucket of how the process really went down. The entire time I kept thinking, "God has some explaining to do". In times like these I would love to pick his brain and get an understanding of how it was done, and how he thought up some of these miraculous things. It was so good to have this trip to give me a little reminder of the great earth we live in.

Hi Markey! I would be glad to add you to our list. You have such a cute family! It was nice to hear from you and see how you are doing.
How fun! I seriously think those same things whenever I go down that way- We live in such an awesome area. I am glad that you had fun and survived the heat!
I am glad you got a vacation. I have never been down there. You pictures are so cute!
What a fun trip! What cute family pictures and fun memories! There's so much to do in Utah, we really don't have to leave do we? On that note, Brett has never been to Arches so we are going someday!
What a fun trip, I haven't been down that way in awhile! And yes, I have many questions for God too:)
It looks like you guys had so much fun! Someday you should venture to St. George, we have some great red rocks here, and cozy beds you could sleep in:)
Looks like fun!
About LOST, I know! I totally thought about our failed party plans last night! So, mark it on your calendar - next season's premier, my house!
