It is funny what being a Mom does to you. (I don't mean physically. There is nothing funny about that, thats just sad.) It flips your world around. For example:
Bennett loves apples and bananas. That is usually a good thing but once in a while they do to his body what we all know they are capable of. So, we give him some prunes and let them work their magic. After each diaper change I will update Jon or vice versa, if they had kicked in yet. We even cheer a little when they finally made an appearance.(Even if it means giving him a bath and clean clothes.)
Never did I think my life would involve so much PoOp, and I really never expected that I would celebrate it's onset. I guess I am officially a Mom, and I am loving ever minute of it, the good, the bad and the stinky.
While I am on the pleasant subject.........I am reading a great book a friend let me borrow. It is called Super Baby Food and it has a lot of great info in it. I did however come across something I thought was interesting/funny enough to share.
Remember: Remember to keep your facial expressions pleasant when you are changing your babies diaper. (With some poops this may be a challenge.) He will notice any look of disgust on your face, which may teach him that his private parts are repulsive and lead him to believe that sex is "dirty" when he gets older.
I guess you can take the precaution if you would like, I just laughed at it. Aren't you grateful for therapists?? Bennett thinks it's pretty funny when I act like he is stinky. Sometimes I do it even when it isn't warranted, just to get a laugh out of him. I wonder how they would analyze that?

Hilarious and so true. Poop will be a part of your life like it never has been before. Cam is 4 now and we still talk about it.
I have that same book and really love most of it. Then, there are the really weird parts that you just quietly shake your head at and then turn the page.
I thought that part was funny also. My first thought was "What the?"
Congrats! Now that you've blogged about poop, I think it's safe to say you're a true blogger and mom!
Hey! I got your comment to me a long time ago but I couldn't get to your blog til now! You have such a cute family!
That is so funny! Mac is the most constipated child too, even before he started eating solids. So, I know how it is to cheer when they poop!
um. thats hilarious. Im sure hes going to revert back to your disgusted face, and it will create an inconfidence. hmm. thats funny. some people are psycho.
